Notes

'Soraya' sunflower (Helianthus annuus 'Soraya') is an annual for borders, cut flower gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is tender to cold, and the first hard frost will kill it. This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. It is one of the best branching sunflowers for cutting, and butterflies, bees, and birds visit the blooms. It sits low on the menu for deer. Plant it where its tall stems will not shade smaller plants.

Pairs well with Radiance cosmos, Peach Melba nasturtium, Cerise Queen yarrow, and Red fescue.
