Notes
'Armide' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Armide') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double white flowers are enormous and tinged cream in the center. Tall, strong stems hold them up, and they bloom in late spring to early summer. Victor Lemoine & Sons bred it.
Pairs well with Stargazer lily, Orange daylily, and Garlic chives.
