Notes

'Art Nouveau' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Art Nouveau') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double, fragrant flowers open light pink with a pale yellow center and age to white. Tall stems reach about 40 inches and benefit from support. Professor Harald Fawkner bred it.

Pairs well with Purrsian Blue nepeta, Aromatic aster, Scentara Double Blue lilac, and Black Hero tulip.
