Notes

'Atlantic' grape hyacinth (Muscari 'Atlantic') is a bulb for borders, containers, rock gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows about 8 inches tall with violet-blue flowers from early to late spring, and bees and butterflies visit the blooms. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. J.C.N. van Bentem bred it.

Pairs well with Greig's tulip, Blue fescue, and Paula Fay peony.
