Notes
'Carola' grape hyacinth (Muscari 'Carola') is a bulb for borders, containers, rock gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Bees and butterflies visit its blue-violet flowers from early to late spring. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Paul van Bentem Bloembollen B.V. bred it.
Pairs well with Green Spice coral bells, Greig's tulip, and Blue fescue.
