Notes

'Attie' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Attie') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large, double, light pink flowers have silvery shading and open in late spring. The arching stems are about 34 inches tall, so you may want to give them support. William Henry Krekler bred it.

Pairs well with Orange lily, Royal fern, and Spanish bluebell.
