Notes

'Aurora' peony (Paeonia 'Aurora') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Its fragrant, light yellow flowers have red flares and age to cream. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Nassos Daphnis bred it, and butterflies visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Blue star, Sum and Substance hosta, and Lily.
