Notes

Autumn crocus (Colchicum laetum) is a bulb for naturalized plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Pale violet to pink flowers open in early to mid autumn. The plant stays small, at 3 to 6 inches tall and wide, so plant it in drifts for the best show.

Pairs well with September Charm anemone, Sedge, and Ostrich fern.
