Notes

'Autumn Fire' ice plant (Hylotelephium spectabile 'Autumn Fire') is a perennial for borders, rock gardens, containers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Rose pink flowers open in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Blonde Ambition blue grama, Nodding onion, and Sedge.
