Notes

'Meteor' ice plant (Hylotelephium spectabile 'Meteor') is a perennial for borders, rock gardens, containers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It forms a clump of deep rose flowers that bloom in summer and again in autumn. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit the blooms. Rabbits rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Blonde Ambition blue grama, Nodding onion, Limeglow creeping juniper, and Sedge.
