Notes

'Baby Face' peony (Paeonia 'Baby Face') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its rose-pink single flowers show a small yellow puff of stamens and draw bees and butterflies. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. The compact plant stays about 16 inches tall with medium green foliage.

Pairs well with Big Daddy hosta, White Swan coneflower, Nodding onion, and Western sword fern.
