Notes
'Balfernarc' white sagebrush (Artemisia gmelinii 'Balfernarc') is a perennial for borders, rock gardens, and dry beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil. It grows about 15 inches tall and spreads 15 to 18 inches wide. The flowers are not showy, so you grow it for its form. It is drought tolerant once settled in.
Pairs well with Cat mint, Blue grama, and Pink Impression tulip.
