Notes

'Ballarena de Saval' peony (Paeonia 'Ballarena de Saval') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. It is an Itoh peony with fragrant, pale lavender, multi-petaled flowers and darker flares. Strong stems hold the blooms upright, and the foliage looks good all season.

Pairs well with Pale purple coneflower, Patriot hosta, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
