Notes
'Banana Daiquiri' avens (Geum 'Banana Daiquiri') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy or loamy soil. Yellow flowers open in early to late spring and again in early to late summer, and butterflies and bees visit the blooms. Deer tend to pass it by.
Pairs well with Blue fescue, Carnaval De Nice tulip, and Bowl of Beauty peony.
