Notes

'Coral' avens (Geum 'Coral') is a perennial for edging, borders, and mixed beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun. Semi-double, coral-red flowers sit atop burgundy stems on a compact mound and bloom from spring to summer. You can deadhead it to encourage rebloom. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Hummingbird's mint, Karl Foerster feather reed grass, and Yellow iris.
