Notes

'Bao-Mi Hua' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Bao-Mi Hua') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Light pink flowers open in mid to late spring. The petals form a ball shape that looks like a popcorn ball. Plants stand upright at about 26 inches tall, so they do not need support.

Pairs well with False Solomon's seal, Hairy aster, Scentara Double Blue lilac, and Picture tulip.
