'Barents' peony (Paeonia 'Barents') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It makes a wide bush with strong stems and bears fragrant, peach, semi-double blooms that attract bees and butterflies. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Prof. Harald Fawkner bred it.

Pairs well with Yarrow, Coralbells, and Nodding onion.
