Notes
'Beauté Française' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Beauté Française') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It bears double rose flowers. The double blooms add a rich splash of color to a border. Cut the stems for bouquets once the buds begin to open.
Pairs well with Aromatic aster, Sedge, and Picture tulip.
