Notes

'Becky Towe' garden phlox (Phlox paniculata 'Becky Towe') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. It forms a clumping mound 18 to 24 inches tall with fragrant cherry red flowers that have a darker eye. Blooms open from early to late summer and may return in early autumn. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit them.

Pairs well with Obedient plant, Standing Ovation little bluestem, Spotted joe-pye weed, and Nodding onion.
