Notes

'Bee-True' spotted beebalm (Monarda didyma 'Bee-True') is a perennial for borders, containers, and pollinator plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun. Magenta flowers open from early to late summer and attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. The leaves are fragrant, so plant it where you can brush past them. Cut it back to encourage more blooms.

Pairs well with Hyssop, Festiva Maxima peony, and Grape hyacinth.
