Notes
'Bellissimo' oregano (Origanum 'Bellissimo') is an herb for a food garden. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil. Pink, hop-like bracts hang in clusters and deepen in color with age. It blooms in early to late summer and again in early to mid autumn. Good winter drainage helps it survive the cold season.
Pairs well with Helene Von Stein lamb’s ear, Dazzleberry sedum, and Berggarten sage.
