Notes
'Norton Gold' marjoram (Origanum 'Norton Gold') is an herb for borders, rock gardens, containers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy soil. Pink flowers open from early to late summer and attract butterflies and bees. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. The fragrant plant also tolerates drought, so you can skip frequent watering.
Pairs well with Berggarten sage, Ellagance Purple lavender, and Cheddar pink.
