Notes
'Benary's Giant Deep Red' zinnia (Zinnia elegans 'Benary's Giant Deep Red') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, and pollinator gardens. It cannot take cold, and a freeze will end its season. This plant likes full sun and dry to average, loamy soil. It grows fast, tolerates drought, and blooms from early to late summer. It sits low on the menu for deer. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the flowers.
Pairs well with Sensation cosmos, Sungold sunflower, and Red fescue.
