Notes
'Bengal Crimson' rose (Rosa odorata 'Bengal Crimson') is a shrub for containers and garden borders. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun. It bears single, cherry red flowers with creamy white stamens from late spring to late fall. The petals can be ruffled and a little reflexed. The airy, twiggy stems are thornless to nearly thornless, and the light fragrance can be hard to notice.
Pairs well with Tea plant, Society garlic, Mondo grass, and Wallflower.
