Notes

Tea plant (Camellia sinensis) is an evergreen shrub for hedges, privacy screens, specimen planting, and food gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer rarely make it their first choice. White flowers are fragrant and bring in bees. It grows slowly and reaches 10 to 15 feet tall.

Pairs well with Southern magnolia, Beautyberry, and Garlic chives.
