Notes
'Beryl Crockett' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Beryl Crockett') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its large, globular, double white blooms open in midseason on good stems of medium height. The flowers do not usually show their carpels when fully open. Gilbert H. Wild and Son introduced it in 1954.
Pairs well with Purrsian Blue nepeta, Aromatic aster, Spanish bluebell, and Sensitive fern.
