Notes

'Betty Calvert' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Betty Calvert') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The blush flowers are full double and fade lighter as they age. Nicholls bred it, and Gilbert H. Wild and Son introduced it in 1950.

Pairs well with Cheerfulness daffodil, Sedge, Musk mallow, and Ostrich fern.
