Notes
'Big Duck Gold F1' marigold (Tagetes erecta 'Big Duck Gold F1') is an annual for borders, containers, and low maintenance beds. It is tender to cold, and the first hard frost will kill it. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It forms a clumping mound 12 to 24 inches tall and 12 inches wide. Its fragrant blooms open from early to late summer and again in autumn, and they draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and birds. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal.
Pairs well with Mealycup sage, Purple top, and Cosmos.
