Notes

'Giant Orange' marigold (Tagetes erecta 'Giant Orange') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, containers, and specimen planting. It cannot take cold, and a freeze will end its season. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer tend to browse other plants first. Its tall, strong stems make good cut flowers. The clumping plants reach 32 to 42 inches tall and attract butterflies and hummingbirds.

Pairs well with Daydream cosmos, Painted Lady sweet pea, and Red fescue.
