Notes

'Coco Deep Orange' marigold (Tagetes erecta 'Coco Deep Orange') is an annual for borders, containers, cut flowers, and specimen planting. It is tender to cold, and the first hard frost will kill it. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Its fragrant orange blooms attract butterflies and hummingbirds from early summer into autumn. Deer tend to pass it by. Plants grow 36 to 42 inches tall in a clumping mound.

Pairs well with Soleado zinnia, Matucana sweet pea, and Red fescue.
