Notes

'Coco Gold' marigold (Tagetes erecta 'Coco Gold') is an annual for borders, containers, and cut flowers. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Golden yellow blooms appear in summer and again in autumn on clumping plants up to 42 inches tall. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and birds visit the fragrant flowers. Deer tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Soleado zinnia, Red fescue, and German Red garlic.
