Notes

'Bill’s Choice' peony (Paeonia 'Bill’s Choice') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant, clear light orange-red single flowers attract bees and butterflies, and the plant grows about a foot tall. William Henry Krekler bred it. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Big Daddy hosta, Spiked speedwell, and Nodding onion.
