Notes

Bird's nest fern (Asplenium nidus) is a houseplant for containers, specimen use, accents, and shade gardens. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 11 and warmer, down to about 40°F (4°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Its green fronds form a tall, evergreen rosette that grows slowly to 3 to 5 feet.

Pairs well with Staghorn fern, Golden pothos, and Baby's tears.
