Notes
Birthwort (Aristolochia manshuriensis) is a vine for covering fences, trellises, and arbors. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. It climbs 15 to 20 feet tall and spreads 3 to 6 feet wide, so give it a strong support. The white flowers are mottled with yellow-green and open in early to mid summer.
Pairs well with Jasmine, Mondo grass, and Society garlic.
