Notes

'Bismark' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Bismark') is a perennial for borders and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Tall, upright stems carry large, semi-double fuchsia flowers in early summer. The flat, loose blooms are fragrant, and the buds form in clusters.

Pairs well with Sedge, Grape hyacinth, and Blue grama.
