Notes

'Blood Moon' peony (Paeonia 'Blood Moon') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The ruffled scarlet flowers are fragrant, and sturdy stems need no support, even in shadier spots. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Nate Bremer bred it.

Pairs well with Royal Standard hosta, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and PowWow White coneflower.
