Notes

'Blue Eddy' German garlic (Allium senescens 'Blue Eddy') is a bulb for borders, containers, and naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Twisted, bluish foliage forms swirling mounds, and lilac pink flower heads appear in late summer and last into fall. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Sedge, Mallow, and Rose.
