Notes

'Blue Future' common hyacinth (Hyacinthus orientalis 'Blue Future') is a bulb for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It bears fragrant blue-violet flowers in early to late spring, and bees visit the blooms. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. J.F.M. Hogervorst bred it.

Pairs well with Carnaval De Nice tulip, Golden Tiara hosta, and Prairie dropseed.
