Notes

'Gipsy Queen' common hyacinth (Hyacinthus orientalis 'Gipsy Queen') is a bulb for borders, containers, rock gardens, and low maintenance beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It blooms in early to late spring with fragrant flowers that attract bees. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It stays 4 to 8 inches tall and tolerates drought.

Pairs well with Greig's tulip, Blue fescue, Dancing Queen hosta, and Heather.
