Notes

'Blue Rain' rosemary (Salvia rosmarinus 'Blue Rain') is a shrub for borders, containers, rock gardens, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist, loamy soil. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It stays evergreen and has fragrant leaves, so it adds interest in winter. Pale blue flowers open in spring and again in summer, and they bring in bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds.

Pairs well with Indian-hawthorn, Mondo grass, and Mexican petunia.
