Notes

'Blue Spears' rosemary (Salvia rosmarinus 'Blue Spears') is an arching evergreen shrub for borders, containers, hedges, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist, loamy soil. Blooms open in early to late spring and again in early to late summer, drawing butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. The plant also tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Stonecrop, Indian-hawthorn, and California poppy.
