'Blue Stocking' spotted beebalm (Monarda 'Blue Stocking') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It grows up to 36 inches tall and spreads 12 to 24 inches. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the fragrant flowers.
