Notes
'Blue Veil' reticulated iris (Iris reticulata 'Blue Veil') is a bulb for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun. It blooms in early to late spring with large, fragrant flowers that have bluebird blue standards and darker falls. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. It also tolerates drought.
Pairs well with Snowdrop, Foam flower, and Japanese forest grass.
