Notes

'Blue Whiskers' blue fescue (Festuca glauca 'Blue Whiskers') is a grass for borders, rock gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. It grows in a tidy clump and tolerates drought. Butterflies visit it, and it blooms in spring and again in summer. Deer tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Obsidian coral bells, Blue Star common juniper, and Queen of Night tulip.
