Notes
'Blushing Dolly' common hyacinth (Hyacinthus orientalis 'Blushing Dolly') is a bulb for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. The fragrant flowers open in early to late spring and are blue-pink. Bees visit the blooms.
Pairs well with Halcyon hosta, Pink Impression tulip, and Prairie dropseed.
