Notes

'Bob' peony (Paeonia 'Bob') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its large, fragrant, semi-double blooms are dark red and sit on strong, stiff stems. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Robert William Tischler bred it.

Pairs well with Pale purple coneflower, Praying Hands hosta, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
