Notes

'Bobbie James' rose (Rosa 'Bobbie James') is a climbing shrub for borders, cottage gardens, specimen planting, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy or clay soil. Its white flowers are fragrant and attract butterflies and bees. Graham Thomas bred it, and Sunningdale Nurseries introduced it in 1960. Watch for thorns when you prune and train the long canes.

Pairs well with Sensation lilac, Polish Spirit clematis, and African Queen lily.
