Notes

'Bolium' sweet cherry (Prunus avium 'Bolium') is a tree for food gardens and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun. The columnar shape fits small spaces, and the fruit is grown for fresh eating. Bees and butterflies visit the flowers from early to late spring. It is not self-fertile, so plant a second cherry nearby for fruit.

Pairs well with Thalia daffodil, Hansa rose, and Red Riding Hood tulip.
