Notes
'Bonfire' cushion spurge (Euphorbia epithymoides 'Bonfire') is a perennial for borders, rock gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Yellow flowers with yellow to chartreuse bracts open in early to late spring, and the clumping mounds stay 8 to 12 inches tall. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Give each plant room to spread 18 to 24 inches.
Pairs well with Blue fescue, Greig's tulip, and Irish moss.
