Notes
Botanical tulip (Tulipa chrysantha) is a bulb for rock gardens, borders, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun. Red and bright yellow petals alternate on each flower, which opens in early to late spring. It grows 4 to 8 inches tall. Give it good drainage and it will naturalize when happy.
Pairs well with Dalmatian bellflower, Spanish bluebell, and Snowdrop.
